Belle and Sebastian have released two new songs in a self produced television spoof. The TV show features new tracks ‘I Want The World To Stop’ and ‘I Didn’t See It Coming’ that will appear on their upcoming album ‘Belle And Sebastian Write About Love’, which will be in stores on October 11.

" Write About Love " is an upbeat number features some guest vocals by actress Carey Mulligan and is available on iTunes as well as below. Write About Love drops October 12 in the US.

Taking a leaf out of the Kate Winslet Book of Self-Deprecation for English Roses, Carey Mulligan has told US Vogue she would love to appear in an episode of Glee but has been told she is "not famous enough". This assertion, I should reiterate, comes in an interview for the world's most influential fashion magazine, the cover of which Ms Mulligan adorns.

Next month, O.G. indie label Matador Records celebrates its 21st birthday with a three-day Las Vegas blowout that the folks behind the label have dubbed their Lost Weekend. In addition to the festival, Matador announced today that it will celebrate its birthday with a massive six-CD box set called Matador at 21 , which chronicles the entire history of the label.
